Howard has extensive experience in the Middle East as CEO of The A Hak Pipelines and

Facilities Group and Managing Director of their International business.

Howard was Executive Director of Skanska Utilities and Infrastructure Services

businesses following his lead in the acquisition of McNicholas plc in 2006. He had

joined Skanska in 2001 as Group Commercial Director for the international

Cementation Skanska tunnelling and mining businesses, where he led on a number

of successful international M&A deals.

Howard has managed a number of Alliancing arrangements with clients in UK, North

America and South Africa and held board responsibility for National Grid electricity substation

and gas distribution alliances in the UK.

Following the merger of McNicholas plc into Skanska plc in December 2006, he was

responsible for the successful integration of the businesses and ultimate redefinition

of the expanded business into the Utilities and Infrastructure Services units.

He was formerly a Director of Euro Iseki/Laserbore in UK, Europe, Middle and South

East Asia. Previously, he spent 15 years with the Costain Group, where he held

senior positions in the regional civil and infrastructure businesses.

He was also a director of Skanska MGT, UIS Plant Services Ltd and NED Chairman

of itmsoil group of companies.

Jan started his career at the Tokyo international business college, Japan and studied '“Administration and commerce” for five years, master’s.
University of Karachi, Pakistan

He continued on ”Administration and commerce” and gained a master’s.
Also he had DVS Welding training
